Choose a Body Wash with Exfoliants
Tuesday, November 8th, 2011
Body acne is an unsightly problem for many people. Plus, the acne breakouts can be quite painful for those afflicted. Some people also suffer from psychological issues associated with their acne, in the worse cases this can result in suicide.
Body acne develops because of dirt, oil, and acne causing bacteria that clogs up pores. This will result in an infection, and then redness and a pustule. Getting acne body wash can help solve this problem. This body wash will wash away dirt and oil, plus it contains ingredients that kill bacteria. The two most common active ingredients are benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. Benzoyl peroxide is better for more serious cases of acne, and salicylic acid is milder.
You should also look for body wash with exfoliates in it. This will get rid of dead and dry skin that can collect dirt and oil and exacerbate an acne problem.

Food Pyramid Facts
Tuesday, November 8th, 2011
The USDA Food Pyramid was created in 1992. This pyramid was designed to provide diet advice that suggested Americans should eat foods high in carbohydrates and low fat. The USDA food pyramid suggests that our diet should consist primarily of bread, cereal, rice and other whole grains. Despite the fact that many nutritionists questioned the food pyramid, it still rose in popularity as a major authority on what a ‘balanced’ diet consisted of.
The USDA food pyramid places a big emphasis on whole grains and dairy, but some experts question their motives. There are some experts that believe diets high in grains and dairy can be unhealthy. Some of these experts suggest that the USDA had incentive to over emphasize the importance of grain and dairy because of their connection to the agricultural sector of the economy.
The Paleo Diet , on the other hand, does not follow the USDA food pyramid recommendations. This diet puts a large emphasis on healthy fats and natural foods by suggesting our diet foundation should be lean meat like fish, chicken, pork and red meat. In addition to eating more meat, people on the Paleo diet refrain from eating over-processed whole grains. The Paleo diet is also free from over processed diary products that include unhealthy hormones. Some people have reported feeling better and losing weight after ignoring the advice of the USDA food pyramid and eating based on the Paleo diet and starting the day with a healthy Paleo Breakfast.
The USDA food pyramid has been the standard used for educating the American people on what a healthy, balanced diet might look like. The food pyramid, however, is not universally accepted as the best model. Many nutritionists and experts question the validity of the food pyramid as they believe it may be an over simplification of humans dietary needs.

Free Glucose Meter: is the Reading Accurate?
Tuesday, November 1st, 2011
Once you have acquired a free glucose meter, be sure to test it. The glucose meter is deemed ineffective or broken when the display does not respond to the blood sample. Of course, there is a good chance that the display is correct. However, it is still a good idea to have at least two glucose meters. Three is even better than two. You need to value accuracy and precision especially when you are reading off a glucose meter. Your body might need insulin already and you are still unsure whether the meter is correct or not. This situation is very dangerous. Do you need to take insulin or not? It is considered to be very risky to run to your doctor or to the emergency room when your blood sugar is dangerously above or below the normal level. So, it would definitely be a big help if the reading is accurate.

For people with alcoholic fatty liver disease, there is a possibility for them to reverse the disease by practicing some of these tips. If you find that you are overweight bordering obesity, it is time to plan major workout sessions. Avoid eating fatty and oily food as well as staying away from dairy products and carbonated drinks. Survey for Eye Colors and Traits They Are Associated
Monday, October 31st, 2011
Recently, I saw the results from a survey of how different eye colors are perceived. That means that they (the surveyors) wanted to find out what are different traits associated with a specific eye color. They mainly tested on three more common colors.
The results are as follows: Blue is associated with kindness or sweetness; brown for intelligence; and green for sexiness.
The survey was issued by a contact lens company. No doubt, they are trying to do a study on what colors is more likely appealing to people looking to buy colored contact lenses. They need to do research before actually selling a specific color.
I am thinking it is working. After finding out green is considered sexy, now I want to own a pair of green contacts as opposed to my natural brown ones. Think about it: all you need are green colored eyes to actually look sexy.

Monday, October 31st, 2011
Have you ever thought why we breathe badly in the morning? Only a tooth brush is enough to clean our mouth? Do we need some thing else to clean our mouth? Using any tongue scraper actually is an Ayurvedic method which is now popular to treat Halitosis which is even called “bad breath”. Apart from this it has numerous other health advantages and is an imperative tool for our detox program. When we sleep our body is actually every busy doing activities like clearance of the toxins. Therefore some of the toxins get deposited on our tongue in a form of a coating. During the detox, our tongue may build up a deeper coating or even taste a bit strange when we wake up in the morning. If we use tongue scraper and gently scrape this layer off in the morning then we will always avoid the reabsorbing of these toxins in our body and we will breathe fresh and better.

Emotional Pain is Increasing
Monday, October 24th, 2011
As the times get tougher in the world, especially with the economy, but many other ways as well, it really sets the stage for more and more people to feel emotional pain. This is because we are in very uncertain times, partly, but also because people have a tendency to try to control their feelings in these very chaotic times. And when you try to control your feelings, that is going to create problems of one kind or another. Feelings are meant to be felt. When you try to control them you end up shutting the feelings out from entering your heart. When the feelings can not enter your heart, you will be in emotional pain. But when the pain starts, we tend to shut down even more, which only makes the problem worse. The more we shut down emotionally, the more emotional pain we will end up feeling. You are blocking your emotions instead of honoring them by feeling them. Luckily, it is easy to change. Just choose to feel.

Typical American Diet and Paleo Diet
Monday, October 24th, 2011
In the typical American diet, not only is the balance of plant to animal food off-kilter, it’s almost ecactly the contrary of what we’re genetically programed to eat.
In your “normal” diet plan 24 percent of the calories come from cereal products, 11 percentage from dairy, 18 per cent from refined sugars, and 11 per cent from refined oils. These foods stand for 71 per cent of the energy eaten in the regular American eating habits and virtualy none of them can be found on the paleo diet food list. Within a, Western diet, about 38 pct of the calories are derived from animal food items. A lot of them rich in fat plus uhnealthy meats (hot dogs, bacon, lunch meats…), a far cry from the paleo diet meal plan.
The next step?
Just observe the paleo guidelines and why don’t you start your paleo diet tomorrow or even today!

Why You Need to Build Big and Strong Bicep Muscles
Sunday, October 23rd, 2011
Instead of working your pecs, shoulders and back all the time, try doing some bicep exercises. If you can build big biceps that look strong then you are automatically going to look stronger, buffer and more ripped. The biceps are one of those muscles that separate the men from the boys. You can get a lot of attention just by having big arms. On the other side though, you can quickly be labeled as being scrawny if you have wimpy arms.
Building your biceps is actually not that difficult if you’ve got some good exercises to follow. Some of the best bicep exercises, believe it or not, are back exercises. If you think about it, your biceps do much of the work while performing back exercises due to the massive amount of pulling that is involved. Anything that involves bringing your arms in towards you while you pull something is going to take bicep strength.
