Snip Snip Snipping It off
Tuesday, October 11th, 2011
I was putting my daughter to sleep when my son came running into the room asking if he could borrow a scissors. I told him that he may have it when his sister had woken up but he insisted that he want one there and then. Said he wanted to cut some rice cooker reviews. So I made him promise that he will not cut anything other than the reviews. He promised enthusiastically so I gave in.
After I had put my daughter down for her afternoon nap, I went over to my son’s side. He was still busy cutting his papers. He had finished with the reviews and had gone over to advertisements. Then I saw the part of his hair where he had snipped off! It was quite a lot and I could even see the skin of his head. I was angry and demanded why he did so. He told me that he wanted to see if he could try to cut his hair like how the hair dresser cut my hair!

There have been different opinions whether drinking manufactured Thai iced tea is healthy or not. However, all opinions about fresh made Thai Tea that is made at home were positive whether you choose natural leaves or bags to make it. It is also a healthy option for those of you who are looking to cut down on drinking soda which has serious side effects like weakening of your bones and teeth. It doesn’t matter whether you cool the tea or drink it hot; the most important thing is to freshly brew the tea. Doing What Teacher Says
Wednesday, September 21st, 2011
My teachers in school used to spend a great deal of their time trying to convince the children in their care that to buy wine was not a good idea. They never seemed to understand that we only really wanted to buy the wine because it was prohibited. You know the way kids are, they just want to do the thing they are not permitted to do so that they can find out what it is like and feel that flush of excitement that comes with doing something that is against the rules. Of course it is against the law for juveniles to buy wine and there is a certain amount of inventiveness that goes hand in hand with a decision to buy wine when you are still too young to do so legally. It is an odd fact of the human character that we tend to do the things we are forbidden from doing.

Excellent Food Pairing for Red Wines
Thursday, August 11th, 2011
When serving red wines Australia, it is important to pair the wine with appropriate cuisines. There are two main types of wines, which are the red wines and the white wines. Each of these wine types is perfect for pairing with certain dishes.
Seafood and white meats like chicken are great when paired with white wines. For red meats like grilled pork and roasted beef, red wines are perfect in this case. This is also great for pizzas and pasta including chocolates.
To make your wine drinking more exciting, make your food pairing more specific for a particular red wine variety. For instance, Merlot wines are great with barbeques and other grilled meats. Cabernet Sauvignon wines are perfect for roasted meats, lamb, and steaks. On the other hand, Pinot Noir red wines are ideal for pairing with certain foods like tuna, duck, and salmon. For sausages and stews, Shiraz is the red wine to go.

When you talk about sport cars, you will think of the mighty Ferrari. If you talk about coffee makers, you must think of Gaggia espresso machines! It is the ‘Ferrari’ among all the other espresso machines due to its reputation. Well, Gaggia is very famous in the coffee maker industry. Why is it so? Chocolate Biscuit Cake with Cashew Nuts
Wednesday, June 22nd, 2011
I made another chocolate biscuit cake during my son’s birthday. This time I put in some nuts with the biscuits, to make it less sweet, and also to make it somewhat different from the one that the family had already tasted. I used chipped cashew nuts which had been roasted and unflavored. For the same amount of chocolate used for the ganache, I folded in the cashew with the broken pieces of biscuits.
We asked my brothers and sisters and their families to come over for a small get together. Everyone was looking forward to dessert because they knew that I had prepared the very popular chocolate biscuit cake again. When the time came to serve the cake, I put the birthday candle on top of it and went through the customary singing of the Happy Birthday song but they all couldn’t wait to get a slice of the cake!

Good Wine Club
Thursday, May 12th, 2011
Finding a good wine club in Paso Robles is pretty simple, there are literally so many good choices that it is truly hard to go wrong with any of them.
We are often asked for our favorites though, here they are:
Denner Vineyards: Sitting literally across a golf cart path from the famous James Berry Vineyard, Denner makes some truly amazing Syrah as well as a variety of other choices. With a new winemaker (who we have a great deal of respect for) we can’t wait to see where this vineyard goes in the next few years.
Alta Colina: One of the smaller vintners in the area and personal friends, we enjoy both the Syrah and the newly grown Petite Syrah which has garnered a high amount of critical acclaim. A great stop for a smaller tasting room and an intimate tasting experience as well as the possibility for a short vineyard tour.

Have a Happy Meal!
Saturday, April 30th, 2011
It is hard to be in good shape or just being healthy these days. The food present in the market today is almost always processed and is very high in cholesterol and sugar making it a burden to our bodies. If we decide to stay healthy and live this way then we should practice self-control. We need to do some exercise and eat only the right food for us. A well-balanced diet should be practiced.
A balanced diet would mean getting the right types and amounts of food and drink to supply nutrition and energy for maintaining body cells, tissues, and organs, and for supporting normal growth and development. Following the food pyramid is easy if we just stick to the food groups being presented but it is always the case that most of us tend to overeat only one food group which should supposedly be taken only in small quantities like the sweets.
The other food groups such as the fruits and vegetables are sometimes taken in small portions most probably because of their unfavorable taste. However, there are already a lot of healthy recipes out there that are given outstanding reviews by followers. It is just a matter of how you cook these healthy foods and how you present it most especially to the discriminating taste of kids.
Healthy recipes depend on your favorite main ingredient. There are healthy recipes for vegetables, seafood, chicken and other low-fat foods. The most challenging task is to prepare healthy recipes to kids who at a certain point in their life stick only to their favorite kind of food mostly crispy chicken, hotdogs, ice cream, pizza and other high-fat content foods.
It is very difficult for these particular consumers to eat vegetables which are very important in their diet. Healthy recipes present the said dishes in a manner that is pleasing to them and would also taste good. This way, they will be given the proper nutrition they should have in their growing years. Healthy recipes are always present in cookbooks and even in some sections of your favorite newspapers and magazines. Nowadays, they are presented vividly in cooking shows on TV and even in websites over the net. Whichever manner we get them, the important thing to remember is to eat right to feel right and live right.

Noteworthy Information on Baking with Cake Baking Pans
Friday, April 22nd, 2011
Cake baking pans are typically made with either metal or glass. Many bakers choose either one or the other, though you may wish to have both types of pans for different cake recipes. There are pros and cons with each material. Light metal pans reflect heat, resulting in a tender, lighter crust. Dark-colored metal is normally non-stick, making a faster and easier baking experience, though dark color metal pans usually absorb more heat than lighter colored cake baking pans, resulting in a darker crust. Glass cake pans tend to retain heat well, leading to a higher temperature within the cake unless the baking temperature is reduced. You may wish to try out each type of baking pan to see which material you prefer. It might be best to do some research prior to baking to determine which type of material will best suit the type of cake you would like to bake.
