It is your mileage count. Your annual mileage is a very important factor when your premium is being computed. Simply put: The higher your annual mileage, the higher your rate would be.
The reason for this isn’t far fetched. Ask yourself some very easy questions: Who is more likely to have a road accident all other things being equal — A person who drives often and another who drives less often? Also ask yourself which vehicle is going to be more subject to wear and tear and therefore need to be fixed or maintained? The answers to these are pretty obvious hence the importance of your mileage to your insurer.
