Everyone will have different hobbies like reading books, coin collecting, stamp collecting, gardening and so on. Fishing is also a good hobby. It is a good activity during the summer. There are two types of fishing: recreational fishing and commercial fishing. Recreational fishing is done just for pleasure. The things required for a recreational fishing are a rod, a line, rod, reel, hook and fishing tackle. The fishing rod is connected to the fishing line and a hook is connected at the end of the line. The baits are placed in the hooks to attract the fishes. There is another technique to catch fishes. This method is called spearing. In this method a spear is used to catch bigger fishes. Another technique called as netting is used commonly by fishermen. They spread the strong nets to catch a good amount of fish. Since many varieties of fishes have gone extinct, restrictions have been brought for fishing in some areas.
